There are several virtual information sessions available for students to attend. Cooper & Cooper Real Estate is hosting a virtual workshop specifically for Carnegie Mellon seniors titled "Renting an Apartment in New York City: A Practical Guide Workshop". This session will walk students through the NYC apartment search process, covering topics such as how to begin your search, understanding neighborhoods and subway access, apartment layouts and sizing, the application process, required paperwork, income and credit guidelines, and tips for avoiding scams. This is a great opportunity for students planning a move to New York City to gain practical, insider knowledge.
